This collection was inspired by the 2025 NIFCA Gold winning jewelry design "Barbados Ah Come From" necklace. The necklace features 3 pieces of sea glass naturally shaped like the map of Barbados. From this concept came the design Collection "Pride of Barbados" where all jewelry is handcrafted using authentic sea glass collected from various beaches in Barbados. As a Barbadian, Rachel is proud of her heritage and designs her jewelry with that emphasis in mind. Each piece brings this love of our island and our culture in its own unique way.
This pendant is shaped into the outline of the map of Barbados and the sea glass is wire wrapped into the design. The sea glasss is strategically placed on the map design along on one of the coastal parishes of the island. Each piece is elegantly encased in either silver plated or gold plated wire. The necklace is an 18" stainless steel chain.
